Red Class 2017-18

Some of us had been doing gymnastics in the classroom balancing along a ribbon line Mrs Crane stuck to the floor. Mrs Mayhew decided we could do some gymnastics during PE we practised balancing and standing still as if Elsa had frozen us, then we rolled and balanced again just like a professional gymnast doing a routine.

This week we had lots of fun organising a party. We decided on the party games which included Pass the Parcel. Mrs Crane played the music and we took it in turns to pass the parcel. I wonder who won the prize in the middle? Some of us made cars out of mobilio, we decided to build some garages out of Duplo and then worked together using scissors and tape to make larger garages with boxes.

We pretended to be Doctors and Nurses this week. Hopefully Mrs Fiske felt better and didn't have any lasting injuries! Daisy Mai checked her heart beat and Lily looked in her ears. There has been some fantastic number work going on in Red class this week. We have looked at different numbers and tried to combine two numbers to find the total.

This week we have been talking about the fireworks and bonfires we saw at the weekend. We made a fire in school and made sparklers we could eat. Some of us wrote signs to tell everyone the fire was 'hot'.
