Last week saw SNOW and lots of it we had to have 3 days off school but we still enjoyed playing in it on the Tuesday.







This week we have been focusing on pattern. On World Book Day we read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and this led us to make fruit kebabs. We looked great in our costumes and had a lovely time sharing our learning with our grown ups.







On Friday in PE we went on the large equipment. What a treat! We used the climbing frame and the elephant schools and practised our climbing, sliding, jumping and landing.

We started the final half term this week and decided we would like to learn all about the season Summer. Thankfully the sun shone and we learnt all about shadows. We made big shadows and little shadows and strange shaped shadows. Lets hope the sun shines for the rest of the term so we can be outside.

The story 'Tiddler has inspired us even more this week and we have been busy writing our own stories about Tiddler and his adventures under the sea. We also all got involved in our first ever Sports Day and we had great fun taking part in all the activities and races at the end.

Red Class have been getting ready to move into Orange Class over the past two weeks. We have visited the lovely Miss Gallagher and shown her how amazing we are and what great learners we can be. In class we have been doing lots of handwriting and reading so that we are ready for learning in Year 1. Mrs Fiske, Mrs Crane and Mrs Mayhew all know we are going to love it in Orange class but will miss our smiling faces every day.
